The inaugural project of the National Identity Line — Wizhevsky & Partners' design line for large-scale institutional and urban projects that decode the cultural code of an entire nation and render it in architecture. Djibouti Towers is the world's first skyscraper complex whose geometry physically reproduces a country's national coat of arms — legible from the air, unmistakable from the ground.

Architecture

The complex is a three-tower composition organized as a monumental interpretation of the Republic of Djibouti's state emblem. A central tower rises as a symbolic spear and shield, crowned with a star representing national unity. Two symmetrical 43-story towers flank it, modeled after traditional Jile daggers and adorned with laurel wreaths — the international symbol of peace since Djibouti's independence in 1977. The ensemble reaches 243 meters, making it the tallest cultural and business complex in Africa.

Materials and systems are specified for landmark-grade durability in an extreme tropical climate:
— High-performance curtain wall glazing. Solar-control coated, engineered for the equatorial sun.
— Reinforced concrete core with structural framework. Seismically rated for the Rift Valley tectonic zone.
— Natural stone cladding at podium level. Locally sourced, connecting the tower to its African ground.

Programme

— A four-level podium housing a premier Trade & Entertainment Centre, luxury boutiques, fine dining, and a Concert & Exhibition Hall.
— Class-A representative offices for international financial institutions.
— A five-star luxury hotel.
— Exclusive private residences.
— A rotating spherical observation deck at the centre, symbolizing the convergence of all African peoples.
